Active Ingredient Profile

St John’s Wort:  Both historical usage and scientific studies have shown the anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and skin healing effects of this wild medicinal plant (antimicrobial means that it can be effective against bacteria, fungi and some viruses).
Calendula: A beloved ancestral medicine used for its powerful combination of skin healing and antimicrobial properties. 
Usnea: This powerful lichen is packed with potent antibacterial, antifungal and skin healing agents. 
Poplar Bud: Contains resin that creates a protective barrier against bacteria and fungus, making it excellent first aid for cuts, scrapes, burns and scratches. Also shown to have cell renewing properties that help speed  healing while Salicylic acid is antiinflammatory and pain relieving.
We recommend you carry out a patch test before first use to avoid potential allergies, and please avoid this if you have an allergy to salicylates.
